Creative Backslash: from precarious individuals to resilient organizations
The Connect for Creativity Project, one of the projects supported under the Intercultural Dialogue Programme, hosted an international conference in Belgrade on 12-14 June.
Besides the prominent names in the creative sector, authors, trainers, and representatives of different organizations and institutions from Europe, Turkey, and the United Kingdom participated in the Conference. The conference featured inspiring keynotes, presentations, panel discussions, and workshops, engaging the participants in important dialogues about the future of creative professions, as well as the notions and challenges of precarious work, co-creation, and resilience. The conference also touched upon some of the emerging issues, such as the relationship of creative work and mental health, gig economy and organization design and resilience, spread across three thematic modules: Alone (individual), Together (collaboration) and United (organization).
