Even if we don't speak the same language or live in the same place, billions of people come together around common concerns, challenges, and hopes.

The pandemic and the difficulties that it causes all over the world are making us re-evaluate our daily life and the way we work. While travel restrictions and social distance rules make it even harder for us to interact with our ‘nearest and dearest’, how is our communication with different cultures affected by all this?

Cultural activities around the world are being reshaped. In this period of social distance, intercultural dialogue has continued its energy and effectiveness with new tools and environments without interruption. We followed the festivals together, listened to the artists we love, and visited the museums we admire, even from a distance!

So, what has changed, how did intercultural dialogue move?

How did you observe this change?

In this period, when we maintain our distance with each other, we are looking for your works describing this change through your window. Are you ready to explain how our dialogue between cultures changed through different artistic expressions by participating in the Impressions Contest? Read on!

In which formats can I present my impressions?

You can share your impressions with us in three different competition categories:

  • Photo
  • Slogan
  • Illustration

If you want, you can send works to one or more categories. However, we would like to remind you that you only have one chance to submit one piece to each category.

Who Can Share Impressions?

This is one of our favorite parts because anyone over the age of 18 who wants to convey their impressions can post their works.

How to Apply?

It’s pretty simple. When you finish reading this page, you will see a form. Click, fill in the form, upload and submit your work. After that, it remains to wait for the results to be announced!

Which Works Can I Submit?

Provided that it belongs to you and has not been used in a  similar competition before, in accordance with the theme, you can send your works such as photographs, slogans  and illustrations that convey your impressions of intercultural dialogue during the social distance period.
