The second international conference of Connect for Creativity, conducted by the British Council, is held in Kayseri as part of the EU-TR Intercultural Dialogue Programme. Entry Application closes on October 27th.
The ‘Creative Catalyst: The University’s role in the development of creative industries’ will be held from December 5th to December 6th, 2019, and the conference at the University of Abdullah Gul aims to improve cooperation between creative industries and universities. The conference will discuss ‘why creativity and intercultural competence are among the top ten skills of the future’, and will also look at answers to questions such as ‘What role and contribution high education plays in the creative economy?’, ‘How the creative industries can play an active role in the design and development of the education of the future?’.
Conference applications will be received up to October 27th through the Connect for Creativity (Connecticforks.eu) website. The conference will be open and free for everyone to join. Those wishing to participate must register via the call on the project web page (https://connectforcreativity.eu/tr/haber/yaratici-katalizor-konferansi-acik-cagri/). Travel and accommodation costs for a limited number of participants selected by an open call are covered under the project. The application for the conference will be open until 23:59 on Sunday, October 27th.
Simultaneous translation will be provided throughout the conference in Turkish – English. The ‘follow the Speaker’ sessions will be held in English and the language of the workshop will be determined by the participant status.
The British Council is implementing the Connect For creativity project from Turkey as part of the Turkish-EU Intercultural Dialogue programme conducted by the Yunus Emre Institute ̈, with Atölye from Abdullah Gul University, The Bios from Greece and Nova Iskra from Serbia, and the joint financing of the European Union and the Turkish Republic.
